Ministries
Sunday School:
Buck Valley Christian Church believes that one of the vital aspects of true discipleship is offering designated opportunities for discipleship and spiritual growth. As a result, we offer an extensive Sunday School/Connection Group program for all ages. This program includes a Preschool – Kindergarten class, a grade 1-3 class, a grade 4-6 class and teen class, as well as two distinct adult classes that foster dialogue and application relevant for today’s culture.
Children’s Ministry:
Buck Valley Christian Church believes that it is vital to minister to the next generation of leaders. As a result, we have crafted an exciting children’s ministry that includes such things as Children’s Church, Vacation Bible School, Youth Group and opportunities for participation in services throughout the year.
Women’s Ministry:
Buck Valley Christian Church offers a vibrant Sister Chicks Women’s Group that meets the first & third Monday of every month during the school year. This group includes important opportunity for “Doing Life Together,” through prayer, as well as digging deep into the Word of God through various Bible Studies.
Men’s Ministry:
Buck Valley Christian Church offers ample opportunities for men to “Do Life Together” through prayer, Bible Study and accountability, by meeting at various times throughout the year for study and fellowship.
Music Ministry:
Buck Valley Christian Church is privileged to offer an exceptional music ministry highlighted by our own Praise Band and a rotation of pianists. There are plenty of opportunities for individuals to participate through singing in the Choir or other special events throughout the year.
Missions:
Buck Valley Christian Church believes that the church has been given a task by Jesus Christ to “Go into all the world and teach the Gospel”. Part of that task includes supporting worldwide, local and national missions endeavors by giving financially and by providing individual opportunities for doing missions work. To accomplish that task, BVCC has committed to designating approximately a third of its annual budget to mission endeavors, as well as sending teams to volunteer at local ministries like Joy-El and the Hope Center of Hagerstown.
